Conservation Program

Our staff has received training from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) on erosion and sediment control practices.  GECO understands the importance the DoD places on E&S issues and can assist with the design and implementation of erosion and sediment control plans.  We have been involved with the creation of archaeological surveys and have worked successfully with the Virginia State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO).  Additionally, GECO personnel have both educational backgrounds and practical experience in areas concerning threatened and endangered species management and flora and fauna surveys.
